Church of St. John the Baptist, Janov nad Nisou

The building of the Church of St. John the Baptist in Janov nad Nisou began in 1809.
It was finished 2 years later, on 10 November 1811. The church was built in the place of the original wooden chapel. Outside the church there is a life-size sandstone statue of a saint. This valuable object of cultural heritage is a manifestation of folk art and dates back to 1831.
